I'm certain Tendouji-san is there to stop the film from being made. Both Aqua and Ruby knew Tendouji-san in their previous lives and will probably see her. They may finally realise who each other are soon.

Hell, what if it turns out that Ruby's mother is somehow involved with the person who killed Ai? What would Aqua do, if Sarina's "horrible mother" in his eyes turns out to be the person who killed Ai? And what would Ruby do if Aqua does anything to her previous mother?

Wasn't it Sarina's (Ruby's) mother who refused to see Sarina before she died/refused to go to her funeral? I remember Gotou getting angry when he learnt she wasn't coming in a flashback but couldn't remember where it was.

Huuuh I hadn't realized thats ruby's mom pre reincarnation. So the fact that ruby keeps sayinhg mom over and over and she appears at the end of the chapter kind of mirrors the scene

There is no indication, that I'm aware of at least, that Sarina's Mother is linked to Ai's death. I was just musing on the idea of what if she was linked in some way? Especially now that we know she is part of the entertainment industry. And it's pretty obvious from the way she is drawn that she's going to be an antagonists in some way.

I just think it would be an interesting route to go down because both Aqua and Ruby know her from their previous lives. If Sarina's mother is linked, how would Ruby and Aqua react? How would Ruby react if Aqua did anything to her (former) mother? Will this cause Aqua and Ruby to realise who each other were in previous lives? and so on.

At the very least, I feel like Sarina's Mother will serve a bigger role in the story than as a minor antagonist who tries to stop production of "The 15 Year Lie" (assuming that's what is happening). And if that is what is happening, why would Sarina's Mother be trying to stop production on "The 15 Year Lie"? Naturally because someone doesn't want it made, and that someone asked her to deal with it. And I believe the list of people who wouldn't want the film aired is very, very small.
