Did they just kinda gloss over her reenacting her mother’s murder? That feels like it’d be way more impactful than the kissing scene!
It's likely not nearly as traumatic for her as it is for Aqua, given that he actually saw it all and she didn't.

Aka did it like tech companies who deliberately hold back on features that should have been mature enough, so they can still have something “new” to hype in the next release.

Just like how Akane shouldn’t have been there, and daddy could speak more actually important plot-related thing to Ruby.

Death sentence? That’s the easy way out. Rot in jail forever.
They still have to go through the administrative hell and the endless waiting room before actually getting the death sentence though.

Akane is yet again with the glaring death flags. She has survived this long. Surely Kamiki and Nino, the mentally ill ex-B-Komachi idol, will put the knife down, right? RIGHT?!

(Don't kill my girl, please...)

Kind of lame that they skipped over the process of filming Ai's death, it would've be an interesting chapter for sure and deserved it's own focused chapter to see how Ruby and Aqua react to it.

Yes, have society pay a pinch of their taxes for a criminal's welfare until the day he dies. Also, death row inmates never fall immediately, so it's kinda the same thing.

This is because the best assassins are safest in jails. Hotel Alcatraz. Or in Baki terms, Maximum Security ( Palace ) er.. Prison.

i would have prefered more explanation, more scenes, more details about ai's past and kamiki, that was one of the main reasons for this arc

isn't Kamiki supposed to be famous or something.?
did Ruby only read the script per part when shooting for the movie or something.?
how the movie supposed to bring "public's malice" if the main star can't even deduced that.?

I find "public's malice" only fit when We assume Kamiki kills Ai just because He wants to protect His image, but now that we know He's "a bit" psycho, kinda laughable.. but, let's see..
(ironic isn't it, how Aka trying to "criticize" cyberbullying through LoveforReal arc, while also doing the same for Finale..)

Who says they have to have a comfortable life? A hole in the ground will suffice.

Fitting but the point is that until the criminal is formally executed, their lives are maintained, meaning they are fed and clothed. People/characters deserving of death live long lives even after their sentencing, and the only way that can happen is if they are cared for, and care isn't free anywhere. There's always a cost.
