Is it just me or he stabbed himself in the same place as Ai? Then that's gotta be fatal then
Maybe the "surgeon" bit was a Chekhov's gun, Aqua knew where to stab himself so he wouldn't die. Sure he can't tell for sure if a fall from that height won't kill him, but at least he wasn't mortally wounded by the knife.

genius plan, frame him for the stabbing yet leave only your own fingerprints on the knife, truly one of the plans of all time

no worries though crow girl will make some magic work and bullshit aqua out of this one
Unless they fall in water, which solves the issue by either having the murder weapon lost or "cleaning" the murder weapon from Aqua's only fingerprints

Well, I just went balls deep researching about stab wound when Aka left Ruby stabbed in the cliffhanger and here's the result of that labor:

First, Ai was stabbed pretty much in the middle of the abdomen. Judging from the the time she has before she lost consciousness, it likely missed the major blood vessel, but hit her major organ, so she bled and died very fast.

Now, for Aqua on the other hand, he stabbed himself about lower left of abdomen, and the knife he used is pretty short, compare to what Nino or Ryosuke used. I'm no expert in anatomy, but there shouldn't be major organ there excepts bowels, so there shouldn't be major blood loss, only a very high risk of infection from all the waste & bacteria in the intestine, but that is a complication down the line that would mess with his survivability after treatment, not to the immediate situation. I would hence assume this stab wound wouldn't really kill him that fast and he has a high chance to survive long enough to be taken to hospital and treated. The more concerning issue would be the fall, but then again, we can see the possibility that Aqua will fall on top of Kamiki who will cushion the fall and survive.

So... main question will be how quickly can he be brought to hospital? The area looks remote though.

Finally, someone noticed this. Plus he's a doctor so he should know, that there is difference between self-made wound and wound made by someone else. An there won't be any signs of fighting on his body. I'd like to stress this once more - he's a former doctor. Shit so bad.

Exactly, who else would be perfect to inflict a "self-made wound" and make it look like a "wound made by someone else"?

Did Ai have any signs of fighting on her body?

Blud, there's a literal ocean in the cliff they're falling from, the fingerprints are gonna get washed up anyways, but Aqua having the open wound on his belly should be more than enough circumstancial evidence of the dad atacking Aqua.

You forgot the part where he also has to tackle and take down a full grown man while having a near fatal looking knife wound. What a shitty plan :ROFLMAO:

No, they won't wash off immediately, fingerprints can be detected up to 6 weeks after being submerged, but most likely they'll be unrecognizable after 10 days. Which is still plenty of time to retrieve the knife from a body. Yes, from a body, because knife MOST LIKELY won't slip out of wound by itself, due to something called greater omentum, which is apron-like fat structure, which in case of stabbing abdomen, will wrap itself around object that punctured you, trying to hold to that object and create some sort of "seal" around the wound.
And in criminal cases, really, detectives aren't that closed minded, that they just look at one wound and say "well, that's what killed him". They REALLY depend on opinions from autopsy made by forensic pathologists.

Are you really comparing Ai's death to this? Well then, that must be Aka's way of thinking.
No, they didn't need to find any signs of fight on Ai's body, because there were LITERAL witnesses.
And Ai was stabbed by suprise and her murderer ran away right after committing crime, here Aqua himself says, that he wants this to look like there was fight.
Do you really don't see the difference?
