If you think normal twitter is shit enough, oh boy. Japanese’s idol culture is next level toxic. Social media are ruthless towards idols, who have to be perfect in any aspect. Glad this manga is going there.

Also last page lmao

@sdarkpaladin Now that's just fucked, I guess this is a reminder that you should always and most definitely keep your real life information away from the internet...but that's slowly becoming harder as more tech companies make your personal information a requirement before getting access to something. God bless the internet, history's biggest double edged sword.

I thought this show was not live and edited and stuff...why would they show the blood scene? Unless the producers are idiots, or somehow a reality show is livestreamed?

Agreed with this being a setup. I don't think Yuki will be scouted for the group, she'll probably be popular enough after this show anyway.
I also agree that the online lynch mob mentality is horrifying, but this cliffhanger is part of the cause. Though, there would have still been negativity regardless if they showed the reconciliation.
Thank you for the amazing translation!

akasaka indirectly throwing shade at the sometimes awful mangadex comment sections, don't know if it makes it worse or better that it's fictional characters getting berated.

@Korvalus Well I don't know whether she did it on purpose or not, sometimes I even scrape accidentally just because long nails. Also it was shown before how fake Yuuki is in front of cameras and she already gather all the attention of the reality, Akane is practically nonexistent there so I don't think Yuki had to set up all of that just to keep her image and "get rid" of Akane just because she wanted a little of attention in the show.

Well one thing for sure, if this situation and Akane situation isn't getting any better. There is no way that just like some people guess Aqua will scout Akane to B komachi, cause Akane have a worst reputation right now.

And about this arc, I don't know what the goal of this arc too. The reason Aqua participate in this show is to finding a clue about her father, but so far there is nothing, nothing that show he doing it.

@SomeThingsAreWack I don't think i'm necessarily white knighting, just pointing out that sometimes mangadex users seem to have a bone to pick about fictional characters or an authors direction with the same intensity as real life targets. It's weird yo

Kinda cool how falling into the rabbit hole and reading this manga simultaneously feels

I was expecting her to seek out aqua or smthg instead of this
