I can't anymore —
This chapter just starts up being so serious, emo maybe even heavy and all I could feel was the over growing laughter and joy from imagining what amazing comment section we are gonna have once again.
Chat you have made me this way, take responsibility.

I'm so happy the main couple got together again.

I wonder what insanity Marika is going to come up with next?

mfw the other kids in that school can't read the "Oshibana!" manga to get a good read on their relationship
She's been shown to disinterested and dismissive of him in public multiple times, especially early in their relationship. No need for the other students read anything when she has a habit of broadcasting their drama.

that was before the relationship actually started(which was around ch 20)

the only "drama" that the school was shown was her running after him after he overheard her that one time, and it ended with them two hugging and kissing at school

the most toxic things about this relationship are how it started and marika's inner thoughts about it(now not inner anymore I guess), both things other kids in the school can't possibly know

I actually came to add an edit to my response, but it looks like you were quicker on the draw. I do retract my statement. After going back and looking, the only public drama they had was in chapter 24. All the drama in the next 3 chapters afterwards happened to take place at school after everyone else left, so they didn't see it. After that, any publicity they had were a couple of sweet moments, mostly him giving her a sweet smile. It makes sense, then, that they don't know how awful she's been; you were right.

drama for no reason and then they resolve it in a few pages in the very next chapter. maybe just leave that part out entirely? the only thing we got out of this is that she told the main couple that they like each other. but that could have been handled differently.
This chapter didn't start with "In this school, there is a prince". I'll take this win happily

You have no idea how people in real life behave
not like that. i haven't seen anyone bottle everything up until they explode - at least not if they don't have mental disorders or something. these characters are supposed to be like 16 to 17 years old (first and second year high schoolers iirc) and not fucking 12. if you have an issue with others, you fucking talk with them? that's the thing that sets us apart from monkeys, if not much else. like how often was it mentioned in recent chapters that she's insecure about the future of their relationship? 5 times? more? how can you not have a simple talk about his plans for their relationship after his graduation?? a guy as put together as him probably knows if he'll enter the workforce, go to university (and probably knows his favorite already) or whatever. giving some honest and heartfelt reassurances is not that hard if he would just KNOW she needs them.

i realize i'm in the minority here, but not talking about things just to not offend the other person (even tho there is nothing to be offended about anyway when you just want to talk about each other's take on the relationship) is kinda stupid if you know everything's going to shit anyway if you don't talk about it.
that said, i agree that the face she was making when they made up was cute. at least one positive thing about the whole drama.

Mindless. All of it. And clearly lead characters won't make that jump because they're not ready. Someone needs to pay off their condo by milking this.

Yeah no, that's exactly what teenagers do because they don't know better. I assume these students do that less when they're adults because they learned from their past mistakes.

if you live in an area where ppl that are almost adults behave like grade schoolers (maybe due to inadequate schooling in social interactions from their parents and/or school), then my sincere condolences. i'd understand if it was a one time outburst, but she's been getting snappy with him several times over the course of days or weeks (not sure about the passage of time in this manga tbh). and if neither of them thought it was high time to sit down and have a talk, then these folks have a serious problem and this shit is by no means normal lmao

So, when was the last time you spent a while around some teenagers? Forgotten what they're like, have you? This is totally mild and sensible compared to a ton of the stuff my daughter's friends used to get into.
brah under what kindsa conditions or in what areas/regions do you ppl live?? i would accept or even expect an one time emotional outburst since they are still teenagers, but not of this level after they had several squabbles and plenty of time to reflect already. cause at 16+ years old they do have enough brains and enough interactions with adults to learn from (either they are in job training or - if they go to high school - have part time jobs or maybe school comittee/club experiences etc) to know that they NEED to have a talk or otherwise their relationship will fall apart. and i'm not expecting anything philosophical here. just say what your issue or your insecurities are in your own words. and if you are too immature to compromise or the other party won't even listen, THEN break up.

so yes, what they did was MILD, but in no way SENSITIVE. i'm genuinely curious what teenagers that age are doing in your area. beating ppl up?

The main characters shouldn't have gotten involved. Especially Oota since he knew nothing went to bother someone he isn't friends with and forced a resolution that they needed to work through themselves.
