Also I honestly do think Marika right a girlfriend that's a little annoying is nice, I'm 5'5 and my gf is 5'11 but had the personality of a 5'0 tall girl and when she gets made her cheeks get puffy and she tries to act all tough but she is a cupcake fr it to adorable to watch that I can't even be mad at her fr

That's the annoying thing, I've read a few other works by this author and thought they were pretty decent. I started reading this cause I was like "Well, these other three were nice. Let's check this one out"
Only for this one to be frustrating in comparison to the others.

glad I’m not alone in that thought, it’s weird how frequently mishandled this series feels compared to the author’s other works. Makes me wonder if something changed behind the scenes? Either more or less oversight or something.

100% expect this one to be simping for the dude, since it would overlap with what her friend used to be before having a mostly fulfilling half way toxic relationship. If not, dear god they really wrote a clone because they wrote the friend to be happy.

It's not that this author can't do it with a main ship; another manga in this shared universe that just wrapped up had the lead couple come together and told stories about two other (quite nontraditional) couples along the way. For whatever reason, this story is being told differently -- and, as exasperating as it can be for us readers, there must be a reason. There must be, dammit.

With this series if the new jealous character somehow knock Oota off the stairs and he ended up in a coma for 10 chapters while some other development happens it won’t be surprising nor will it be too odd.

Hasn't this manga been about the annoying lesbian character for a while now? We finally got that storyline wrapped up after focusing entirely on her for a long time and the author introduced a new one. Hope this one actually pushes the leads together.
