looking at it like that, she's kinda stuck on a bridge between two extremes of "gross"ness.
On one side, if she uses the matchmaking app, according to you, she gave a boy false expectations for a decade, regardless if she actually gets a match.
On the other side, if she does get with the MC, she can be labelled a groomer and the Japanese don't play when it comes to a nail that not only sticks out, but does so "disgracefully" (if they view cases like these the same way as the western side).

Absolutely agree that the kid definitely has issues in regards to relationships, but that doesn't mean his reaction to an unwanted aggressive sexual advance is abnormal. Yes, he's weird, but his reaction isn't, it's a fairly by the book normal reaction that someone in that situation, male or female, would have.

I have to be honest these characters are written so well, that talking about cake can be somehow profound in a way.
A wholesome but very deep series about emotionally damaged people.

I dont think you understood what fully happened. My guy was sexually harassed and felt arousal from it. It is a normal action that happens to us Humans when we are in a sexual situation regardless of if our minds are against it. Its the same as a woman losing her shit after she got wet while being graped.

He has every right to be questioning himself after being in a situation like that. Brother is not a weirdo for it.
