How long can the author drag out this manga if there is no drama to reaffirm Tohno's mistrust? I was expecting Houjou to accidentally drop the fan and pick it up with the Rei side showing at the same moment Tohno looks over at her - causing his resentment to resurface. I love the premise of this manga but I don't like when everything just kinda goes the protagonists way. It feels like the manga could be wrapped up in just one volume.

He's not, however, your typical garden variety bro-con who dotes on his brother, but the kind that wants to be admired and fawned over by his little bro.

Unfortunately he's also an idiot who got so obsessed with maintaining the dignity of an older brother, that he didn't realise he was hurting Youta's self-esteem.

Cue Rei meeting "secretly" behind the gym with Houjou to ask her about her relationship with Youta, along with every single Rei-otaku girl in the school, tearing their hair out.

How true really the only people who make the MC feel inadequate are his bro's asshole fangirls/stalkers and himself. None of his friends or anyone else makes him feel bad when comparing him to his brother.

Nice its good that Youta doesn't having any bad feelings towards his brother and vise versa. Too bad that Youta lost, though as another commentor stated, his team was several seconds behind. If both brothers had gone the same time, then he probably would have won. Also I was expecting a coach to immediately rush up to him after the race to ask him to join track. Considering how everyone was so impressed with his running I figured the school would be fools to let a talent go like that. Usually that's what happens when a student shows their true skill at a sport.

This is the same point for the parents I think. It's like, yeah Reiji and the parents seem nice people but then they let Toyota get sort of traumatized/bullied? So I'm thinking Toyota just kept it all to himself and neither Reiji nor the parents know.

Has he ever really been an asshole to him though? He doesn't want his brother to surpass him which can lead to being a dick, but he never acts like one to him from what I've read and his reasons are to be a good old brother it seems. the original Comment meant that Youta was the Asshole towards his brother out of Jealousy. Even though thats not the case, he just dont want to be compared to him.
