Tohno is the first girl who's proven she cares about him rather than getting in good with his brother, but years of manipulation (and that one traumatic case of heartbreak) have left him very defensive. You know what, i still think she after the big brother. As you see, she play it slow and safe, then when MC feeling at its peak, she will drop the freaking bomb asking to visit his house and be introduced to the big bro. Then, she will slowly ditch MC where at the same time close the gap with big bro. Final blow will be she openly flirt with big bro and completely ignore MC all together. At that time MC will fall into the abyss, the void, and got pull by the great attractor to the nearest bridge..... and then he wakes up, eat breakfast and go to school.

What’s worse is that the way this is written she and his brother could be banging throughout the whole series behind the scenes. Bro just sent her in to try and “fix” his brother’s issues out of pity and guilt.

There’s really no evidence to the contrary, at least not yet.

Plus she’s a bit too good at managing him and hasn’t relinquished the upper hand even for a second since they met.

Does she not realize he likes her? Actually, better question does she realize she likes him? Does she like him? Does she just think he's a chill guy that she likes hanging around? Have we ever seen things from Houjous perspective or gotten any kind of indicator to her thoughts? We assume she's getting close to him because she likes him and we never once questioned that, she could literally have just gravitated towards him without knowing why. She could actually be that airheaded, again, we have never seen her thought process or what she's really like aside from her interactions with Tohno.

I get the feeling she just thinks they're friends. She seems utterly clueless as to the things she's doing. I doubt she's after his brother, but I don't especially feel like she's "after" him, either, besides as a friend. Maybe she'll develop romantic feelings later, but I don't get that from her at all, at this point.
