I was pretty optimistic reading this, even with the yandere vibe, since all she's done so far is destroy his asshole dad and at least start on destroying his asshole bully. "What could go wrong?" I was thinking.

And then the last page, and the new girl looks sweet and cute and sincere, and suddenly it's obvious what could go wrong...

Pretty disappointed that this is going the harem love triangle route so early. I would have preferred to see things develop.

I suspect that this manga could pull a fast one and have Ayame bump her off or scare her away almost instantaneously. Unless the writer is kind of a hack, if Ayame was able and willing to murk her future father-in-law on day 1 of her and Ota's relationship there really isn't any reason that she wouldn't plot Sayuri's downfall right off the bat. Although I suppose the way you can write that off intelligently is if Sayuri has a kind of spiritual connection that allows her to ward off something like Ayame or if Ayame simply can't find a good opportunity to hunt her.
