Ooh is that some development I hear? It’s great to see some character chemistry between all three of them, they really feel like good friends who don’t even realize they’re that close. And this is all before any romantic interest on either of their parts.
The two of them have a bit of an uphill battle though, Otaku-Kun is very much under the impression the two of him hardly see him as a person, let alone a man. He really doesn’t know what to make of their relationship, the two of them obviously don’t dislike him, but he can’t tell how close they are because of how they normally treat others. If they really want him to realize how close they are, both of them are going to have to prove with more than just words just how important he is to them.
I wonder if we’ll ever meet this mysterious little sister of Amane’s? Ijichi is really understanding and just enjoys seeing the two of them happy, just being with people who are happy makes her happy too. I can already see her having trouble figuring out her emotions when accounting for Amane’s own.
She really comes off as the kind of girl who would willingly put aside her own feelings if it meant letting her friend be happy. Amane seems like she would probably do the same, and would definitely get mad if she found out Ijichi was doing it to her… This is all far off from now though, so no reason to think of it at the moment.
All three of them had fun with the fans and glow sticks. I never even thought of trying that, I wonder if it really is fun to do? Ijichi definitely enjoyed the two otaku’s colorful commentary throughout the binge watching. Otaku-Kun finally met one of his followers, how wonderful, I bet he felt proud in that moment, and he even got to teach Amane how to draw, a double win. I honestly thought he did it all on paper based on the drawing, but doing it digitally makes more sense, it’s a lot easier in many regards, you can save and share it without needing external hardware to get good quality copies.
