And? Just because there is "a lot of effort" (whatever that means), it doesn't mean it's good. Character models are ugly, animation is becoming more and more scarce (and it wasn't much at the beginning), graphic is also becoming more and more wobbly, characters sometimes look like they are AI made, screenwriter is stretching many parts just to fill the fanservice requirements made by producers and VAs sounds like they had no direction, especially Ichiji's VA, but Otaku's VA is close behind her. The story makes a heavy lifting here - it's funny and gets the job done. It's perfect to just turn your brain off and chill. But it was given, that's why we like OtaGal manga.
Like I said, beside solid backbone of a story, which was given, the rest is mediocre at best. The story unfortunetly is not enough to save whole anime for me, just because it's fairly basic stuff, just well made. Especially not in romcom genre.
Don't get me wrong, by saying "it's mid at best" I really mean it. It's mediocre. Solid 5/10. Might be lower, might be higher. But I can hardly recommend this anime to anyone, who is not hardcore fan of this type of romcoms. Which is pretty much "a must" for me to consider something as "good".

It literally means "of moderate quality, neither excellent nor terrible". It's exactly what 5/10 is. I'm using whole scale to rate things, it's 1-10, not 1 and then 8-10, with nothing in between.
