Well that was an ending and a half, about as good as you could considering the circumstances, almost didnt feel that rushed, and thats a good thing. Nagi finally gets to be closer (no kisses though, shi tuff), and everyone else seems to be havint fun, about the best way it could go really.

This truly was a Gal, who was Kind to Otaku, roll credits.

Really enjoyed this series, both the funny stuff and the serious stuff. The ending does feel a little rushed, but I'm happy where it ended up. I like how all of Airi's friends came to help her, it shows that all the work she'd put in was worth something after all. And Airi and Nagi really are #roommateswhogropeeachother

Dunno why people think this was an axe. Maybe I just missed an announcement. But it seems to me that the last few chapters were kind of an indication that the mangaka was running out of ideas and just doing weird stuff to fill out the volume. That would make it a good time to bring the manga to an end.

Also dunno why people think they're just roommates. They're touching each other in sexual ways and it's not an implied offscreen thing either.

Ending gave me whiplash with going from the random wild hypnotism/drunk plot, to the sudden joke of being axed, into the sudden older and depressed Airi.
I liked the conclusion. I enjoyed the overall ride but man that speed bump we hit at the end was wild. Hope to see more from this mangaka in the future.

sugar. blew me away with her mastery of short form storytelling while always providing us with a sane and thoughtful outlook on the world/people AND being hilarious all at once, I could have kept reading this for thirty more chapters, only bad part is that there isn't more

Binged this in the past two days and wow! what a manga. what an author. She clearly has such a deep understanding of subculture and some complex well articulated thoughts on hobbies and making your identity around them.
Nagi was a fun character you don't see that often in yuri manga and their lights together in university/early adulthood whilst technically ambiguous is pretty explicit in light of their behaviour in the series.
I think it was clear this was always the ending that sugar wanted to tell and I liked the way she told it too. Please do scanlate the other sugar series I love the art style and the ideas behind it.

This one will definitely one I will 100% remember. it's incredibly deep for such a fun premise. and I think I relate to Airi on not having fun anymore with your interest, that shit sucks dick. Also unpopular opinion, but the horror chapters were peak yall js don't get it.
