seems to be common even in shoujo manga but at least 21 is slightly better than 35+ tho he also basically got the job overnight as well so i can imagine even if if it's just him chasing some ppl 'give in' eventually depending on the series. (Altho i wonder if there's ever been series like these where they end up with their older brother or father instead XD) at least he's not a middle schooler
