Just like with the dwarf I find these characters far more interesting.

Shame they aren't the main focus... I'd love to see a story with the as the protagonists.

Nah, that actually makes PERFECT sense. The reason is that we KNOW the MC's story - she's the illegitimate child of a lower ranked noble who was supposed to be found and then join the academy and do a whole dating sim game as the MC. That's her story - she just said "fuck all that I'ma make my own story" when she inherited the knowledge of this world from her would be killer at the start who isekaied to this world.

So there's no reason to explore her story/she doesn't really have one. So exploring the side characters as we go is a fun little thing.
