Are they dumb? Just get the Louise who has the seal to challenge her beloved Leon to a duel, make Her bet the ship neither of them owns, swear on the tree and lose on purpose. Bam, Leon gets his ship back. This is LITERALLY what has happened last chapter, why shouldn't it work here?
And to think, we will have to spend at least a whole god damn year on this arc born of pure retаrdation. Especially with chapters 9 pages long![]()
That would only take away the tree's help, he'd still have to take it from the antagonist somehow, so either way conflict is inevitable. It also does not solve the key issue: the nobles of Alzer will continue to go after him using his people, because they just see him as a stuck up foreigner that needs to be put in his place. What he's about to do is meant to terrify everyone into leaving them alone. Are they dumb? wdym, the seal was ready to blow princes' heads off, and it was also hovering over the ship ready to punish whoever tried to take it by force. Naturally this means it would also forcefully eject the antagonist the moment Leon wins the duel and prevent any harm from coming to Leon if the antagonist tries to prevent Leon from boarding it.That would only take away the tree's help, he'd still have to take it from the antagonist somehow, so either way conflict is inevitable. The only good ending will be to bring the big ship that can destroy floating islands and kill literally everyone sink the floating islands, so not even the cockroaches survive.
Agree with every word, nay syllable, nay letter, nay pixel, nay BYTE, NAY BIT of your comment. The only satisfactory ending to this Republic arc would be for the sacred tree to get utterly destroyed. It would basically shatter the very core of that corrupt country. This particular arc has such a stupid basis, Leon losing his ship because someone else with no right to it used it as betting collateral, that it's difficult to really care about it. It's already challenging to care in general with Leon's difficult personality, but at least every now and then he has those great moments. But it would be better if the foundation for those great moments made sense.
I guess it's good to be you, knowing what's to come.Luxion is just pretending and uses that to ambush and wreck the Alzer army later on, all while pinning the blame on Pierre. It's not as retarded as you think- Leon and Luxion are just playing Pierre for a fool.
That is such a relevant comment.10 pages of update is wild. Sensei should quit drawing this series if he's not feeling it. 💀
