Man Kaoru is just the absolute most garbage person in this series. Literally the only good thing she was ever involved in was getting shit talked by Bou and now this shit arc and ruins Bou by pairing her with a trash person she wasn't originally even interested in. I can tell that every chapter with the two of them in it is going to be the actual worst.
@alesund Her "genuine feelings" can be summed up as "I'm entitled to indulge myself at the expense of others".
She only loves Bou-chan because she's pretty, remember? She didn't bother learning anything about Bou until after she was rejected, I would say she did it as a last resort but her *last* resort was just stone cold sexual assault.
Her only interest in Bou at this point is in using her to define her own self worth.
Remember when she said "
Since you tossed me aside in order to draw it, I assumed you were going to create a masterpiece
"? Let me translate for you:
"You know that thing you're really passionate about? How important it is to you? Well now it's just something to compare me with."
She doesn't *care* about what Bou loves, she sees it as an obstacle. It's selfish, and it makes all of her actions disingenuous.
lol all the hate on Kaoru is pretty funny and well i can understand were people are coming from but still to me she really isnt that unlikable yes shes done some shitty things but shes just a kind of fucked up girl she isnt a completely unforgivable horrible person and now that shes finally trying to change kind of ? I like her more and sympathize with her also Bou-chan seemed to not hate it that much at the end there lol i ship em.
Naoru is obviously the person telling her she should be a mangaka in the flashback. The reason bou-Chan’s name hasn’t been revealed is because Naoru would recognize it
