Classic "dehumanize the enemy" tactic, as well as a metric fuckton of blame shifting. And it's even easier in Leon's case because of how he defeated their strongest warrior, kidnapped their princess, and demolished their fleet.

Act the victim, cast blame on the enemy, and call them monsters/heretics/racists/whatever slur will rile people up, and you radicalize your own population to your cause.

I think the question is more regarding why "heretic", as that implies some kind of faith in god. Something we haven't seen yet, have we?

I'll be honest, I have never seen a community that loves to be elitist about free translations. Like sure some might be unreadable, and not manga are being translated. But like something that can be improved upon by someone else is better than nothing.

Luxion's main body is essentially their trump card, it also needs to stay back to protect the capital from falling due to a attack, hence it needs to stay back, if it really comes down to it he will call it but for now it's best to hold it back as partner is far stronger than the principality's ships anyway.

reading way too much into this breh. Just felt like reading what people were commenting, and felt like commenting too. Is it really that hard to believe that you need to mental gymnastic your way to 'oh they're elitists, oh they want attention, oh, they're disparaging people for doing whatever they want'
feel free to read whatever, I'm also doing what I want with deciding to wait and see if the previous group drops a chapter or not, bc sometimes there are consistency differences between groups (character names and overall translation quality being the two biggest ones for me).
