I'll be honest, I have never seen a community that loves to be elitist about free translations. Like sure some might be unreadable, and not manga are being translated. But like something that can be improved upon by someone else is better than nothing.

Consider yourself lucky then, I have seen elitist translators/communities and this isn't it, people are just waiting for the translation that's consistent with what they are used to reading of this manga. For the record, the elitist type usually yell "sniped!" and drop the manga entirely, translators and readers.

End of the day, he still is a prince. He's not completely incompetent in a fight (and that's by Holfort "obsessed with adventuring" standards), but right now all he can offer is essentially just another warm body to the fight, while losing him still means losing royalty, and that's bad for morale, among other issues. Plus Mylenne would be sad.

Luxion's main body is essentially their trump card, it also needs to stay back to protect the capital from falling due to a attack, hence it needs to stay back, if it really comes down to it he will call it but for now it's best to hold it back as partner is far stronger than the principality's ships anyway.

Also, Leon realizes, even if he doesn't quite vocalize it (probably on the policy of "if I don't acknowledge it, it isn't real") that Luxion's main body is so damn OP that the moment even a fraction of its full power gets revealed, he singlehandedly becomes the most powerful faction in the kingdom political scene by far. And he very much doesn't want to take over and rule Holfort. Or even just depose Roland and put someone more friendly in place, not if that means even a minor civil war and dead people for the sake of a shiny hat and comfy chair.

I expect it to be a love triangle, theres no way anyone other than these two girls like this guy.

man, i feel for leon. he has his principles not to kill solely because not of kindness but concerns of mental deterioration on his part that he established early on. he knows the consequences are gonna bite him in the ass but that's just additional mobs amongst countless others compare to actual mental instability.. a trade risk he is much more comfortable with.

although he knows what's to be done, this decision is probably gonna haunt him for the rest of his life but will not regret it one single bit.
