I think that the reason Leon doesn't show them affection as they show towards themselves is because of the same reason as Marie being traumatized by women around him in both his previous and current life he finds it hard to imagine that someone could actually like him hence comes his mob mentality into play.
Looking at the date your account joined, did you join just to respond to this one message deep in the comments, if so, I am impressed. Go forth and make your masterpiece.

Of the three, the Queen's honestly the worst one. Yeah she's hot, but she has power and what she's done with it is helped keep the shitty system the Kingdom has established since she does most of the governing iirc.
It's been a while so I forgot if the manga covered the workings of the border regions etc. and the government stuff, but suffice to say, she's honestly kinda retarded.
Leon is going all out, single handedly decimating enemy forces while the others are still playing a soap opera. What a joke... Leon's back must hurt carrying all these ungrateful bastards
So now after like 20 chapters of bullshit the MC finally decided to arbitrarily get his shit together and use his awesome power to solve the problem.
This manga has like zero consistency in people's motives.
Also I dunno why people expect a harem, MC is too much of a spineless virgin to reciprocate either of the girls' feelings, unless the author decides to arbitrarily forget that detail.
What I'm guessing will happen is what every other hack writer does in this situation: he gets sent away and then meets some other girl who falls for him. Am I hot or cold?

It's not ending with them making up. it's ending with them getting engaged. yes all 3 of them in what is imo the single best part of the entire story thus far. Angie's dad earns some major dad of the year points and the entire sequence is hilarious.

nah he's plenty consistent. He has his goals and is constantly working towards them: he wants a quiet life out in the country without any responsibility or duty to this shit country.
Everything else is conspiring to get in the way of that, mostly by promoting him up the nobility. He needs to resolve the war issue, both because he'd be drawn into it anyway and because he's not a big enough bastard to leave people to die. He likes Angie and Olivia, but marrying into a Dukedom and/or secretly the saint is the exact opposite of a nice quiet life that he's trying to get. that and his own status is in the way, too low for angie and too high for olivia.
and yes, it's gonna be a harem. Not even a spoiler it's just obvious.

her marriage was politically arranged to keep a third country from attacking her homeland. The third country is apprehensive about attacking her home and leaving themselves open to retaliation from the Holfort Kingdom, now an ally through her marriage. At the upper levels of government and leadership, the power reverts to men, same as everywhere else outside Holfort. That's why you haven't seen any marchionesses, countesses, duchesses or female ministers anywhere. The female-first attitude was a scheme to keep earls, viscounts and other mid-level or lower nobles oppressed and too busy pleasing their wives to attempt to overthrow the government. King Roland performs his royal duties and does his work adequately, but will try to do the minimum required so he can goof off and flirt with other women.
