All the girls are envious of Mylene because while they had to pull every trick in the book to marry Leon, Mylene didnt have to do a thing.

if they hadn't wasted so many chapters on 3 out of 13 total light novel volumes, the artist might not have lost any and all motivation. like the whole war arc could've been summed up in like 5 to 10 chapters without the reader missing any context whatsoever. not to mention this is a rom-com first and foremost, what's the point of wasting almost 40 out of 68 chapters on boring fighting lol
if they had introduced the other two girls already, things wouldn't have ended on such a sad note.
