@delta_angelfire, there isn't much of "shoujo romance" in this title as this is a Dark Souls-level otoge and not typical fluffy otoge - the world here isn't some isekai where the dangers of Demon Lord-level are in some distant future, but some ruined alternative Earth of 22-23 century after the war and worldwide cataclysm that made it to degrade into medieval society where most of technology was lost(and only MC have some imbalanced techno-cheat...) and magic came into existence(there existed few titles with such worlds like

), still there is tons of places with dangerous legacy. There are so many possible death flags that can end up with the world destruction almost each year

that MC will need to run everywhere and break them, this made romance part to stagnate very much until they all destroyed while gave the reason to "accidentally" collect a harem and "accidentally" rise a level of noble title. The main problem just as always are those reincarnators that are messing up with the main route/plotline too much and Leon needs to clear the mess after all of them.

I don't read josei too much so it's possible there's some in there too. Either way, what I was saying was that the gender of the protagonist is not relevant to what the classification is. It helps in reaching your specific audience but it's not a must.
