So they thought beating up one of their main lifelines was a great idea my mans has shown to be one of the strongest and influential in your country. I feel they forget that he is the type of guy to get revenge. They at bare minimum need to apologize on their knees for what happened there. Holding him back ok fine fair enough. Beating him up not only while the enemy was there but after also and locking him up makes them straight up his enemies at that point. Not to mention what they did to liv. Seriously would anyone blame him if he escaped with liv?

@WaterRocket I think it's still on Leon's. Angie in the original timeline would get destroy so those traitorous girls didn't have to curry Angie's favor ever again. It could mean that those girls won't be in this field trip to carry out the deed.

@Nematoda I have never insulted this manga. I once said it's bad., because people need to spoiler NL to me to keep me reading it. I shared my opinion and gave actual reasons why I think like this. I have never insulted anyone. I wrote multiple times "I don't like this manga" and I have the right to do so.
"Respecting someone like this should be the logical thing to do". I don't understand what that has to do with the rest of your speech. I was speaking here about a character in the manga. Not about the author or some living person.

That character's personality is shit. I criticize it. I don't like it. And I don't care about the emotions of the author. I criticize his work, not him.
And I too have been criticized. It's natural. You can take it to the heart and cry about it, ignore it, learn from it. It's your choice. You can't go through life without any criticism or hate.

Leon got sucker punched, knocked off balance, and then taken to the ground. Having someone on top of you is bad in a one on one fight. Here, Leon is being held down while other people are beating on him.
He probably would have put up a better fight if he saw the first hit coming, but that's not what happened.
And just a minor pet peeve of mine; it's "shouldn't have" not "shouldn't of".

@zer0answers Right, he could have accomplished literally nothing by taking a fight that we (apparently) all know he doesn't win. Punching into a crowd that can fuck you up is such a great idea. I'm glad we've established that you have tons of street smarts when it comes to fighting and you totally wouldn't die before the age of 16 in a less sheltered hometown.

So, an assault by a gang of people, and an attempted murder..?
Basically, everyone else is a total human garbage on that ship, except Olivia and MC.
Even Luxion failed totally, keeping his master safe. (I think it's fair to say, he could've helped without straight murdering the assailants, and also kept his cover/invisibility.)
This is just the weird me and my weird taste, but I just dislike this type of "turn the other cheek" mentality which so many japanese protagonists have. Damn I have so much respect for so many manhua protagonists, who murder and beat ruthlessly any assholes who mess with them (even women).
These inhumanely nice/forgiving MC's are the worst to me. I bet if he was raped by the other guys at that moment, only thing this MC would do was to complain that they didn't use any lube, and even still would save their asses by the end of that arc.
Just pointing out, that this is not how normal people think and work. If you get beaten badly, by a group of cowardly assholes like that, and they even are about to murder you by the end, the only thing that is on your mind after that moment, is revenge.. Not how you can save their asses.
