I feel like people overthink this manga way too much.

Always a little sad to read messages like this, it's dismissive of one of the most fundamental sides of art - analysis and interpretation.

Works of art can and should be interpreted to as high a degree as the viewer desires. Good artists leave jump off points in their work to allow it to be interpreted in many ways, the more ways - the more profound the art. Following that, until a story concludes, no interpretation is 'too deep', since it's not even up to the author once their work has released to the public. It's a creative exercise for the viewer himself to interpret however deep they want. If by the end, this manga ends up simple, so be it, but up to that point, it's, if anything, showing respect to the author to assume they thought things through. Regardless, it has enough motives that anyone with a good grasp of literary analysis can see that this manga is not shallow at all. You're free to not see it, but don't dismiss others for going down the rabbit hole. We're getting enjoyment out of this and the author would only be more happy if they saw people taking their work seriously.

You can't be this dense after this yknow
I don't think it's being dense. I think it's more like...this is the only real person in his world. If he blows it it's gone for eternity. They are stuck with eachother forever.

Given how deep and exploratory a lot of this story is with how alien a perspective you gain from getting trapped in a time loop...I feel like this basic jealousy reaction seems very out of place. When you know a relationship with anyone outside the loop is pointless, and you have infinite time to build a relationship with your companion, what could there possibly be to be jealous of? And surely she's done plenty of things with other people in her time.

I feel like having her have this totally typical jealous reaction is kind of lazy. Like "here's a thing the audience can totally relate to" even though it doesn't really make sense in context. I guess it's there to show a decrease in detachment, starting to care more about what they do together, and so on--but I still think it wasn't written in a way that makes sense in context.

I'd disagree with this for 2 reasons, A it's based on the assumption that she has done things with other people, something that's only conjecture with no supporting evidence, whilst it is a possibility without any real indication it's just as likely it didn't happen.

And B whilst a relationship with someone outside the loop might be impossible it doesn't mean the idea of jealousy isn't inherently a human thing you can just get rid of.

It's like if your significant other said to you "ya know I really love my celebrity crush way more than you but I know it'll never work with them so I'll just settle for you". You can acknowledge it's true that they'll never get with that person whilst still being jealous or even get angry they have those feelings for that person in the first place.

Him fooling around with someone else while it may technically be deleted from happening due to the loop. Her knowledge of it happening means it still happened

It's funny how people so fundamentally assume monogamy, that they say stuff like that.

Less about assuming monogamy and more about lack of evidence for polygamous relations in the first place.

Not saying she's a virgin but there's been no evidence for her to have had relationships with anyone at all prior simply because she hasn't indicated as such.

I wasn't talking about that, but your assumption that it's an inherently human thing to get jealous in a situation like that, or that I would react in your example like you think I would. Also it's polyamorous, not polygamous.

imagine if all of them got trapped in the loop too lol

Tho yeah i guess one step closer? Jealousy can be healthy as long as you don't let it get too far but i guess it's a good thing she sees it as a 'threat' considering she saw her own mom as a 'doll'/robot or so

I assume they wouldn't get 'sick of each other' but it'd be too tragic if they forgot each other if they ever 'escaped' from the loop
