Just to give some context to the people, according to the Shoseki Ranking, the volume sales were disastrous. Why'd this get axed? It's so good!

You got to be shitting me. Please don't tell me they are gonna quit on the series.Just to give some context to the people, according to the Shoseki Ranking, the volume sales were disastrous.
Volume 1 performed poorly, but at least it managed to barely cling to the weekly ranking, scraping into the 488th spot out of 500. Based on that, we can estimate it sold around 1,262 copies in its first week—a figure that’s nothing short of disheartening. After that initial week, it vanished entirely from the daily rankings, never to be seen again.
Volume 2’s sales are nothing short of a tragedy. On its release day (November 20, 2024), it debuted at 184th place on the daily chart. The catch with daily rankings, though, is that they don’t provide estimated sales figures, leaving us in the dark about how many copies actually sold. By the second day (November 21), it plummeted to 417th, and on the third day (November 22), it saw a slight uptick to 389th. After that, it completely disappeared from the rankings, never to return.
Given these abysmal numbers, it’s no surprise the publisher likely took one look at Volume 2’s performance and decided it wasn’t worth continuing the series.
