Yes ppl said in the previous threads that it got axed and 27 is the last chapter , hopefully the author gets to do a longer series next time (if they aren't bitter and resentful and taking a break from manga, assuming they'd have another job on the side too, versus sticking to like one shots or so and building up enough money to do some series as a hobby to where they wouldn't have to worry about an editor interfering/sales numbers)

Let's see if anyone agrees with me since I've been sitting in his ending since the raws came out.

First of all, sex didn't break the loop. The chick went mental because of the loop killing herself over and over and he just fucked her to get her back to normal.

This works for a while and they keep fucking. Eventually she leaves him and goes back to killing herself

He tries to forget her fucking a bunch of chicks but he's always alone now in the loop. He never likes everyone as much they are just fuck things but he's always watching the fireworks alone juxtaposed to him watching the fireworks with the main girl.

Eventually it just breaks for no stated reason

I'm glad we got a somewhat happy ending, but we definitely needed more chapters to have a proper resolution. It's too bad it got axed without giving it more time to end things well.

Though, I have to say, you could feel their desperation in the sex scenes they were having. I also noticed they even had one threesome in there.

Correction, the threesome and other sex scenes were with other girls. She leaves him at some point in the film strip. Sex didn't fix her

Oh well it was fun while it lasted. Wish the reception of this manga was a little bit better because this is such a precious seeds that requires a lot of care for to work. Again, very unfortunate that this got axed. Hopefully we'll see something better in the future

Also side note, I checked out few tweets of the author (Fujita Joe) and under that I saw some replies about a few fans saying that the series is very huge on mangadex like wtf??? Pls don't do that, this is still considered as a pirate site after all

I think it's more along the lines that sex only helped her sanity for a little bit and then she went back to killing herself over and over because she couldn't bear it. And aoi just starts living the loop alone and ducking random chicks to cope but always feeling alone signed by always watching the fireworks alone

I think its just the author showing them delving into their insanity with degenerate sex and drugs, so much so they lost their memories (as shown by the burning film strips). Perhaps the true solution was forgetting each other? Who knows, it's a rushed ending anyways

Your theory makes complete sense, that the reason she stopped showing up, was because sex didn't fix her forever, and she went back to killing herself. He realized he couldn't stop her, so he went mental and just gave in to debauchery, but he kept longing for her until the loop ended.

Really? the ending panels of the previous chapter had the MC alone and without her. I'm not sure if he's exactly accepting her since it looks like they both just went crazy at the end.

Okay, so I'ma throw my hat into the ring as to why it ended this way.

My interpretation is that they didn't break out the loop due to sex, but moreso by completely accepting each other. They accepted each other's love, lust, pain, and joy. With that, they weren't in the loop anymore, But, because they were taken out the loop, they lost all of those memories. Of course, I could be completely wrong but that's just how I interpreted it.

I will say I am still confused on a few plot points, but I suppose some answers aren't meant to be revealed.

Honestly I feel like if they had actually showcased his loneliness in this it would really have improved it a lot. This feels very haphazardly done (though I know it's because of the axe). Honestly the main appeal of time loop stories is the whole groundhog day thing where the MC's grow and change through it but it was all basically wiped out because they somehow forgot everything. I feel like that is really detrimental to the story's integrity.
