A boring, clichéd, misogynist arc begins: The wife trapped in a boring life, which everyone criticizes her about, must be punished with misfortune for daring to want another kind of life.
And of course, lots of naked women ;)

Ah... the curvy lady from the cover image!
Skinny waif gonna get some curvy yuri booty!

@Cyro11 : Who knows? What happens in the burqa-baths stays in the burqa-baths.

@Pachka84 : The fuck? Misogynist? Punished? Were you even reading the same story? This is blatantly a yuri arc.
I mean sure... they're in a culturally oppressed hyper-muslim troglodyte shit-hole whose entire culture ought to be napalmed into plate-glass, but this is still blatantly a yuri arc.

Ohh... This manga is weird. Like it's written by multiple people. Some parts are great, some parts just don't fit the story. The description didn't say that half of the manga is about exploring irrelevant side characters.
Also, it seems like the author now suggests that all women were so suppressed that inside kinky public baths they turn full yaoi. It soo overused and cringy now. What does it add to the main story? Nothing. I guess it's ok to divide such story into multiple stories, it just not what I expected. Can't say I like it. Especially that after 5 chapters the characters disappear to never return.
And art feels different. Too anime with weird body proportions. IDK what's going on with this manga. I don't like these "filler" episodes which also feel are written and drawn by different people. I guess I'll skip them. I just want to follow the main story and people around that.

welp... this felt like a shampoo commercial, alright. 'Look how sexy you shower using this shampoo...'

Real life: they are so busy with daily chores they have to rush through everything... not even gonna talk about those that take kids in. No, there is no way it'd be like this and I'm having a hard time not rolling my eyes all the time.

I am aware that Mori colorizes the history and makes everything (and everyone).. prettier.

But this now (that is to say: this chapter) feels so... Disney-ish, it's just too much. Way way too much. The idyllic way Mori (or, hopefully an assistant that took over for these unfortunate chapters?) presents this oppersive culture just feels wrong. Sister-wives.. true sisterhoos.. uhuh, yeah, sure. Everyone is happy and laughing all the time. Just butterfiles and motherfucking sunshine in there. Yup. Peace and prosperity and mutual respect.

This chapter made my eyes roll so hard I think I sprained something, possibly.

The modern fundamentalist interpretation of Islam is a relatively recent phenomenon that spread with the influence of the petrodollar. 19th century Central Asian and Persian religion and customs were even more regional, diverse, and pluralistic than they would be in Europe at the time as there was no central authority of religious matters with the collapse of the caliphates. Trade and communication were also significantly limited, even more so than early industrialized Europe.
