You know I really hope you’re right, it’d at least give some kinda explanation for what I just witnessedOkay, so Hepatia has been confirmed as being a boy. Cute little brother ahoy!
Also, just love how she's being all tsundere about this, only for the prince to go all Pepe le Pew on her. Just now waiting to see if its because she accidentally charmed him or not.

Didn't that senior witch mentioned how charming someone won't be as effective if the witch wasn't interested in them? Sure, Cecilia may not have control of her powers, but if they're dependent on her emotions/mood, unless she's denying herself and is actually a tsun who still has a soft spot for the prince/childhood friend despite his betrayal, she seemed totally done and wants nothing to do with him.You know I really hope you’re right, it’d at least give some kinda explanation for what I just witnessed
Cecilia being tsundere? When? About Hepatica you mean? Or the Prince? In both cases she is not being tsundere at all.Okay, so Hepatia has been confirmed as being a boy. Cute little brother ahoy!

She actually went with a mild "ugh", but I was grossed out by him so I changed it to yuck insteadI am glad that her reaction to the prince is "Yuck" instead of "doki, doki".
Why do you think I called her a tsundere?Didn't that senior witch mentioned how charming someone won't be as effective if the witch wasn't interested in them?
@Neypot, @wyrahat, ya'll might wanna take note here as well since you two saw fit to drop "Dumb" ratings on me.Cecilia being tsundere? When? About Hepatica you mean? Or the Prince? In both cases she is not being tsundere at all.
I feel like rather than a charm it is more like a truth spell she accidentally cast, or something like a magical form of drunk honesty based on how he is acting.Okay, so Hepatia has been confirmed as being a boy. Cute little brother ahoy!

That's an interesting take. I can dig it. Let's see how things shake out in the next chapter.I feel like rather than a charm it is more like a truth spell she accidentally cast, or something like a magical form of drunk honesty based on how he is acting.
I did reread them, but what happened this chapter, and even on previous ones, fits more to bitterness or stuborness than tsundere.@Neypot, @wyrahat, ya'll might wanna take note here as well since you two saw fit to drop "Dumb" ratings on me.
Page 16, Chapter 3. Crying when Prince Albert starts crying.
Page 21, Chapter 3. Forgot to call him by his title. (Keep in mind, she was a Duke's daughter, so this is a big breach of etiquette for her - using his title instead of his given name should have been automatic.)
Page 19, Chapter 4. Her reaction to him complimenting her on the dress. "Feels just like the old times..."
Now, I'm just spitballin' here, but it seems to me you folks haven't reread the earlier chapters when this started getting updates again - Chapter 4 went up over four years ago!
The thing is, I'm not simply judging by her behavior in Chapter 7 alone. I'm going by her behavior throughout the narrative as a whole. So you may wanna go back and refresh your memories.
So that moment where she was crying isn't enough? Or that moment where she's reminded of how things used to be between them with the dress?I did reread them, but what happened this chapter, and even on previous ones, fits more to bitterness or stuborness than tsundere.
Besides, she has not in any moment shown Albert any “dere” moments. She has always put up a wall between them, not tsundere at all.
You cant compare Taiga’s behaviour with Cecilia’s, Cecilia is not hiding her feelings or being fake with false strength, she is openly being bitter and angry at what happened to her, her tears are not of “dere feelings”, they are out of frustration at her living in shame and being shamed by people who should have supported her and didnt, to the point of resentment, she is not hiding those AT ALL. You are reading a feeling that is simply not there. So that moment where she was crying isn't enough? Or that moment where she's reminded of how things used to be between them with the dress?
If nothing else, keep in mind that this title has the "Romance" tag, so even if she isn't showing much yet, we're sure to start seeing some dere-dere moments soon. Not unless this story really bucks the tropes and she winds up going for someone else, which I kinda doubt.
That said, don't forget the formula of these things. In Toradora, Aisaka Taiga, who is the archetypical tsundere, led things off by punching Ryuji's lights out the very first moment they met, but in the end... yeah. In the beginning, it's always all tsun-tsun, all the time, and it takes a bit for the dere-dere to start coming out.
Just wait, you'll see.
