Sangwha has cotton sugar in his head at times, but this is the best and most wholesome development we could ever have. I didn't expect this but I'm kinda happy, I hope he'll keep his BFF and his lover in his life, not mixing emotions anymore and not pushing his own feelings onto others until it becomes toxic. Also establishing his own boundaries so no one ever will overstep him, that includes his friend and anyone else (just because Ryuh Han is showing real concern now, it doesn't erase what he did and he needs to be a better friend. Sangwha deserves respect, consideration, and care regardless of the situation), he also needs to learn how to talk about his feelings properly.

Woah, I totally didn't expect this. With the amount of Korean wbetoons I've read, people like ryu han often turn out to be shady jerks. This is why I couldn't hate his bff like everybody else in the comments. We only see and know MC's pov and how he interpreted his bff's actions. Of course, him being shady and a jerk is a possibility but MC's judgment could also have been clouded by his disappointment and jealousy.

I'd be super worried too if my bff is suddenly hanging out with someone who looks like a gangster/mafia 😂

I think this is more like Sang Hwa accepting Ryuh Han as he is vs absolving Ryuh Han of his less than stellar best friend behavior. I've actually been through this with a childhood friend (although not complicated by romance 😂). You just accept what they give you and you lower your energy and expectations because you're still really good friends but on a different level.

@marchessa But he really was putting Sang Hwa on the back burner for his new college sunbaes... at the effing welcome party so literally when he just met them. And Ryuh Han is vague about his own social doings. Before he even met Lee Geum, Ryuh Han was getting jealous and pushy about wringing Sang for information about his new friend. So the danger aspect is a little... Even in this chapter, Ryuh Han says "you've never been this close with a game friend." Ryuh Han is still an ass imo

What chapter was that again? But like I said, that was in MC's pov which may or may not be accurate. We don't know what RH thinks and what his intentions really were. I'll wait for that moment when all is revealed before I start hating him 😁 MC himself admits that he suffered because of his own expectations not being met. Just saying that his feelings could have influenced how he saw things at face value. I've been there once. I got upset and jealous with my bff bc she had new friends other than me. Bc of the jealousy I felt, I let myself believe that every time she hanged out with them and not me, was like her saying she got tired of me, that she no longer needed me as a friend and all other dramatic sh*ts a teenager could think of.

Thanks for the chapters!! I love Sang Hwa and Lee Geum’s relationship so far and can’t wait till they get even closer But man, best friend guy is a jerk! Not a fan of him. “I’m worried about you” — oh so that’s why you’re an ass? Also wtf it seemed like he put other ppl before Sang Hwa in the past so why is it a problem that Sang Hwa does that to him?

I am worried that Sang Hwa is gonna get caught up/ or see some of Lee Geum’s shady business and pull away from him 😢 I hope not tho. I want those two to be happy!!! But alas, there must be drama in BL!

So happy with the way this conflict was resolved! Sang Hwa dealt with his (and Ryuh Han’s) feelings in a really mature way. Honestly, I don’t think Ryuh Han is a horrible person, and I’d love to see him actively trying to be a better friend to Sang Hwa. It would be great if Ryuh Han could redeem himself even more by genuinely being supportive of Sang Hwa’s relationship with Lee Geum.
