Oooh I remember reading the novel. It's nice to see supportive parents, although this one is also another case of 'x class is bad but turns out is not' lol

did her previous incarnation ever had siblings? if so there's the reason she was unwanted, no siblings to care for her.

Yeah... Then again some alchemist did have the skill to craft items that let's you use X skill even if they don't have said skill

so if this was real life then a baronet family would be THRILLED to get a maid class, because it would make her a prime candidate to become a lady in waiting for royalty, which would give her a very good chance of rubbing elbows with high class nobility, maybe even snagging a husband. A Lady in Waiting is always lesser nobility for royalty since royalty generally does not interact with commoners.

I'm confused, where does the author think the maids come from? Most, if not all the maids in high-ranked households come from lower-ranked noble households. The daughter of a baronet receiving the job of a maid isn't bad, since that allows them to create a connection with some high-ranked noble by employing her there. Sure, it would be bad if a firstborn son had a job like that of a maid, but a daughter? That's perfectly fine.
