This started off promising, but it slowly transitioned to a very average story. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it's not really interesting. I don't understand why we are not allowing time to pass. Why do we need to keep the protagonist as a small child, while also making them act like an adult in a lot of cases. More failures should be shown, trial and error, the challanges she is facing should be spread through time more, she should try to make new potions of her own, and for the love of god, can we we pls not do the "good food + strongest dog" combo? There are too many stories, where the MC is just making different foods and sharing it with their oversized mutt. I don't really have anything against dogs irl nor in a fantasy setting, but this trope is the fantasy equivalent of white rice or white bread in cooking. It's not bad, but it has no flavour, no uniqueness of any kind. It's the definition of average.
Regardless, as I've said before, this is still a good story, especially the beginning.
