I'm smelling a drop, but if it's funding, how much is needed for the remaining 23 chapters ?

its pretty easy to get the raws for this (the internet is awesome + i have enough spare money to just buy the raws myself as we will never be taking donations). the main thing holding release schedules back is pretty much just lack of staff, itd be great if we could get multiple people working on multiple chapters but being as small group as well as being made out of purely volunteers, we can only work on one chapter at a time. im currently working on increasing recruitment efforts though and hopefully get more people that would want to work on stuff like this.

This started off promising, but it slowly transitioned to a very average story. It's good, don't get me wrong, but it's not really interesting. I don't understand why we are not allowing time to pass. Why do we need to keep the protagonist as a small child, while also making them act like an adult in a lot of cases. More failures should be shown, trial and error, the challanges she is facing should be spread through time more, she should try to make new potions of her own, and for the love of god, can we we pls not do the "good food + strongest dog" combo? There are too many stories, where the MC is just making different foods and sharing it with their oversized mutt. I don't really have anything against dogs irl nor in a fantasy setting, but this trope is the fantasy equivalent of white rice or white bread in cooking. It's not bad, but it has no flavour, no uniqueness of any kind. It's the definition of average.

Regardless, as I've said before, this is still a good story, especially the beginning.

This is suprisingly grounded for a fantasy manga and in a good way.

Far more Mary Sue than I like so far. Ah yes overpowered analyze anything skill, favored by the gods for no given reason, all the recipe books she'd ever want given when convenient, and all the materials are either within arms reach or a short stroll away.
Theres no real trials or tribulations, no moral dilemmas to her changing of the economies, the only character growth has been her getting past the initial assumption her family would hate her for her class to which they spoiled her senseless.

It falls flat with only comfy to back it up, but even that doesnt cushion things enough to be worth a read so far.

This is why I've finally dropped it. Kept hoping for some sort of actual growth or challenge or something because it had decent vibes at first, but it's tepid the whole way through.

Oh, it's about alchemy, so the character is going to spend time figuring out how to make things through trial and error? Maybe they'll screw up a lot at first but then grow to be respected for their skills? lol no. She gets magic vision that tells her exactly what tools to use and how to mix things. They've literally got the materials themselves talking to her to tell her how they want to be combined.

The biggest problem in this story, and this is something you realize is in every single chapter is the non existence of plot

The mc had a co existing soul with, which fade away in the first chapter and conveniently forgotten.

She has whatbillions layers of protection, between her family, the king, the spirit king, the accessories, etc, there is ultimately nothing that can happen to her

The trials and errors are all counted at a max number of 3 tries, first time she fail, second time she succeed pretty easily (and when 3 happens, it is related to cooking, so not really a "issue to fix the plot")

She has a lot of "solutions coming naturally" to every kind of her issues which are always on point. She never struggle for anything nor is she faced with the possibility of failure.

Lets remember she has her shop at only 10 yo, with two assistants, but has no problem opening it, because it is time skipped two years in the future.

It's not much that everything is handed to her...instead it's just that everything is just at arm lenght and she just have to stretch a little to get it

No challenge, no adversity, no plot, not dilemma it's literally Something happened, the manga

Or in this case, Nothing happens, the manga

It's a 4 to me, it looks pretty, the promise is interesting, but since there is nothing to drive the story, the problems resolves themselves without too much struggle, so it's just...there
