@Tearsax probably because he is now at the lowest level, he doesn't have any stats added to increase carry weight like strength. Other than that, previously it was at 20 maximum carry weight, due to the negative level punishment.

@Tearsax beginner normally wear cheap armor (leather) because level limitation. But he is a pagma's decendant so it ignored that. His armor's weight maybe that amount in total

For a player who have a few years in the game (and was a lvl 160-200 before), he can't understand the use of an item with a chance to ignore all resistances?

Why are the authors always making dumb heroes...

His carry weight at level 21 is about 3k, at level 45 about 5k. He was previously level 70+ so he had a much higher carry weight. It's his armor and sword that are the bulk of that weight.

The conversion is 1 gold = 1 USD. This is obvious as the gold to won conversions are the same as USD to won.

@Tesla
Grid never leveled above the mid 80's (losing several levels looking for Pagma's book). The whole thing is he's rather ignorant of common in-game knowledge despite playing since the beta launch. He often remarks on how lucky he is to acquire secret knowledge that is actually commonly known. This is actually rather different than typical brainless protagonists. Grid is average smart, but because of his inferiority complex making him so toxic, he never really took the time to learn and self improve. This is quite obvious when you compare him to his latter self. (post ch96 and then again post ch220)

that's a noob capitalist.

IRL they would take 15% for the arrow head, 10% for the shaft, 5% for the stabilizer, and last but not least 40% for the services.

To be honest, 70% in total is still intermediate capitalist, the TRUE capitalist would take 80-90% because they know they're the one turning the product into money.

No one says "golds" or "silvers", they use the algonquin tendency.

So it would be "70 gold" rather than "70 golds".
