One of my favourites, pity that this only treated a couple dimensions, even on release this SCP had several journeys under his belt.
But the return to the dark one or the journey to the vampire one or when the SCP organization got a parallel version of him and tried to vivisect it...not very light hearted.

Yeah, but there's no guarantee that it detected him when he popped in. If it can see you you're fucked even if you can see it, but if it can't you're safe until you draw attention to yourself.

Considering it's a world of darkness, if the creature has 'night vision' then it's likely to get blinded by the flash light if anything.

If it doesn't rely on vision (as seen with most deep cave dwelling creatures) then the flashlight wouldn't alert them.

Subject once again appeared in a pitch black location with breathing nearby. Upon turning on its flashlight, subject was surprised by a man wearing a black business suit and sunglasses, with an impossibly wide smile. Said “Smiling Man” was apparently leaning in toward SCP-507 when it turned on the light, the end result being that their faces were almost touching. Smiling Man then remarked “Back so soon?” before subject switched the light off again, discharged all the rounds in its firearm at the general vicinity of the man, and once more curled up into the
nearest corner until shifted back into our reality.

This happens later in the article, and there's more stuff with contracting bodies, his every dimension hop etc

I know there's only a limited number of panels they could use for each SCP, but they really should have broken that format for this one. The world of darkness parts were fun.

Spoiler: IIRC this is what was in the dark room:

A well dressed man sitting on a chair with a smile that went from ear to ear (like the one soyjack meme). The dimension hopper seen him and the man said "Back so soon?". I think he turned out to be rather gentlemanly (they had a nice conversation), but still creeped the poor guy out something fierce.
