These types of stories where a regular human falls in love with some mythical being always end so bittersweet because 9/10 times the human just gets old and dies while their partner keeps living on without them.
Yea, not a huge fan of it, imagine being immortal or living for 1k+ years and you only had a lover once and that lasted for like 50-80 years or so, quite a horrible life imo never being able to fall in love again because you love your lover so much but they are gone, kinda feels like living for 1k+ years with a thorn in your heart
They did. You can see their kid in the flash forward, they just aren't given any dialogue or follow up. We get the scene with Lotus and Raspberry's kid to make it explicit they are married and breeding.
