The difference is, at least this was made with PASSION (or something slightly less than that). One can make something bad, but people can still appreciate it when it's made with passion.

HGS and Velma is just woke trash (or disregard the "woke" word, it's usually US-specific politics too, so us from outside the US roll our eyes) that's made to make fun of the source material and/or fans.

I don't know if Okamoto has assistants, but if he doesn't, then he made this all on his own. His stuff may be "love it or hate it" and he may be a poor writer, but he has TONS of actual skill and passion to assuming he did this by himself.
