Now, just waiting for Kinjo or some other witch to do something. Empress is pretty much the biggest (known) villain after Kinjo, but if somehow other witches felt the Empress' death echoing throughout the world, maybe a power vacuum or something will happen? Orrrr Nishina is actually evil, who knows.

Plus, there's no bigger humiliation than losing to the guy you tried so hard to make miserable. His ego must have been inflated from being treated like a god in the new world thousands of years ago, only to be beaten by an average 'loser' with no supernatural powers

The final page of the whole group coming back to base was deeply satisfying.


Finally, MC defeated the empress and achieved a major milestone in accomplishing what he was set out to do.

Plus Leigh Mary's back in her best outfit. It's good idea for her to do the final blow due to how much her story revolved around her faith in the empress.

Overall, very good chapter. The Empress fight is easily better than the last major witch fight, which was a long-winded mess.

Yeah, I hope the final battle between MC and the jealous God is a 1:1 duel. No interference. Just David- Goliath type of battle.

Maybe the MC can become temporary enchanted to match Kanjeo if Kanjeo still physically amped or knows magic if the match is too lopsided but who knows.
