Leigh-Mary best girl
I can say without a doubt this Story is better than the current isekai anime that air right nowThat anime would be too straightforwardly Hentai...too much risk for the studio involved.
There IS a reason why you do not mix sex scenes with meaningful story. The sexual part is too distracting, and sooner or later the whole story will just revolve around sex - which it does.
The only way this could happen would be a huge fan base, which I simply do not see. For example, on reddit, Parallel Paradise has 2k members, whereas Elfen Lied, another Okamoto manga, has 5.4k members. And Elfen Lied is like 20 years old and it is long over. I guess you can argue that elfen lied's popularity is (at least partly) thanks to the anime it got, but my point is that the parallel paradise community is way way too small.
... and Parallel Paradise isn't getting any more popular either, it has too little (->story) to offer for mainstream, non-hentai fans. So no huge fan base either. It's a shame really, because the story had several points, where it could have broken out from the "protagonist only have to mate to overcome an obstacle" mold. And it is obviously nearing its conclusion.
Not every one uses reddit and even if they do, rarely people join niche reddits unless they really like it or they know about it from some mainstream source. I have reddit and I don't join niche subreddit cause you can already see them in mainstream subreddit like r/anime and r/manga. That's just how most social medias work. Because people want their post to be seen by the most people, they'll join groups that are already popular and cover wide ranges of topics instead of singlular topic groups. Not to mention that Elfen Lied was made way before this and already got an anime. The fact that Parallel Paradise managed to garner that much community within the span of a few years is impressive. Also you're on MangaDex, why don't you use the statistics already provided here? 64k follows, way more than Elfen Lied has on here. You know why? Because people already watched it, and the number of follows Elfen Lied has are probably people just coming here to bookmark it as Completed. Even so, both community are probably still growing, you just didn't know. Why you gotta go to reddit to use their statistics? And don't pull the bullshit of smut not able to be made into anime. Have you seen Healer Redo and Ishuzoku Reviewer?? Oh yeah Isekai Meikyuu too. There's also a World End Harem anime coming up after like 10 years of its' release so don't try to downplay the possibility of Parallel Paradise having an anime. Nothing is impossible! You need to be corrected 👺💢💢 Ora! 👺💢 Ora! 👺💢 Ora! 👺💢That anime would be too straightforwardly Hentai...too much risk for the studio involved.

Me too.. I think it's acronym for PeePee 😋Never noticed Parallel Paradise acronym is PP 💀
Do you realize there can be character development in sex scenes? Some mangas squeeze in important inner monologue into the sex scenes like when it's the first time they have sex (Isekai Meikyuu) or they're being comforted (Rudeus being cured of his ED, dunno if this is a good example or not). Sex can be a turning point for characters, not just a bonus. That's why I also read dialogue in hentai, it adds to the experience although there aren't much plot (there are some don't get me wrong, similar to the Rudeus example, characters overcome their trauma/problems by being loved/cared for). There aren't a shortage of examples but those are from the top of my head.Which is the case of "Isekai Meikyuu de harem wo" (Harem in the labirynth of another world), the anime revolves purely around the harem (which was incomplete only showing 2 girls and the 2nd only appeared when the anime was almost over, with the rest appearing in the very last minutes of the last episode while the credits rolled in) and the sex scenes, while the manga actually focuses a lot into the story and development of the characters too with the sex scenes being a bonus per say.
While I don't agree with the 1st part, where I'm not gonna lie I came for the hentai and stayed for the story and mistery behind it all, seeing the hentai as a bonus, I do agree with the 2nd part, there were indeed times where the story could've taken a turn other than the constant need to mate.
So when is he gonna tap Yarlya's ass?
