The spots appear to be Nashville in USA, Maracaibo in Venezuela, Pamplona in the Basque region of Spain, Brasilia in Brazil, Kamenskoye in Russia, and Kunming in China. Aside from Nashville, which is more known for it's music, but does have a developed financial district, odd choices, to say the least. Pamplona is a regional center known mostly for tourism, Kunming has some tourism and industry, but is in one of the least developed regions of China, Brasilia is pretty much just an administrative city for the Brazilian government, Kamenskoye is an obscure port city in one the least populated parts of Russia, and Maracaibo is an agricultural and mining city.
