So, I guess we now know where all the missing destroyers corpses (that were missing from the cemetery) went... They grind them up and use the dead destroyers flesh and bones and maybe souls to repair the destroyers armor. My guess is the bracelet is some kind of genetic marker. No wonder the emperor treats them like disposable pawns. The armor is the important thing to him the people are just temporary holders, the armor probably eats the user in exchange for strength/power. So her promise to never use the armor to the man who knows the truth about the armors dark secrets all the while being clueless herself to the dangers of the collar on her neck.

Now this is getting annoying. There's too much stuff that's not worth commenting on, but it's annoying that the MC is getting dumbed down in both intelligence and skill.
