What a brilliant emperor, doesn't have anyone keeping track of his precious Destroyers and his only source of information is his own daughter. Genius! Genius!
No, pathetic emperor...
@wolfeng he's got his own sources of information, but the emperor isn't going to say "yes I know you're a bumbling incompetent liar" to his own daughter in front of others, is he?
@wolfen
To add to what @Red225 said; Ji Feng says herself that the emporer doesn't care about the Destroyers and only wants a quick heir between them to make stronger tools of war.
The princess is doing what she must to remove Ji Feng, but within her father's parameters.
Seems like a total overkill to murder a person, just to "prove you have nothing to do with her".
At least place some evidence of their association first, before suggesting you should lob her head off.
Why every emperor in this kind of novel with a female protagonist are so incompetent and fool ?
Yeah, make an enemy of people who have the strength to overthrow you just to make some marriage.
I dunno about that, if he had his own source of information he would know how she handled the father and the nobles that wanted to keep control of her city, he would know about the battle against another destroyer in the graveyard, or at the very least know that she's not the useless kid from before being handed the city.
Sure he only views destroyers as tools but if he actually knew anything he would just select someone else to marry her and get rid of the foolish Lei Min that tried to move behind his back. He should know by now that Lei Min is worthless and any other male would probably have a stronger heir.
