As author said, season 2 was a bit disappointing compared to the first one, but it still managed to end without escalating too much.
I'll rate 9 because I enjoyed it, but it would probably be an 8 if I were trying to be more critical. I don't think it deserves a perfect 10.

I don't understand why they would upload only the last chapter while leaving a 70-chapter gulf between it and the previous chapter, but then also not even have a website that they're trying to get people to go to in order to read the missing ones?

Spoilers: It's really good all things considered. I did find it odd how a guy who spent his entire life "living in his own means" suddenly became greedy and tried to steal that power from demon gods. They could have done bit more on the romance side and the fact we never really got a true antagonist in the story.
