I can get a pair of sturdy steel-toes (and plenty of socks), 3 pairs of quality workpants, a whole pack of high-vis beater shirts, a basic high-vis rain jacket, several pairs of contractor gloves, and one or two ANSI-spec glasses for about that price. Hardhat is a little extra, but my skull is thick enough as it is.
