Work life balance doesn't exist for a lot of mangakas.
16-20 hour working days aren't great for your health.

Manga authors work in hellish conditions, like, 16 hours a day every day with little to no breaks, no time to do anything else but sleep and then go back on your desk and draw some more. It's extremely rough and will take a toll on your physical and mental health.

I am guessing the publisher got a backlash for the art style change in ch98. Subsequently DuanS was in charge of ch99 and the message was posted at the end of the chapter. Maybe the artist change was without prior warning or it was not communicated very well.
We will likely see the new artist in ch101. And they might not be the same artist as the one who did the ch98.
By the way - all the backgrounds are basically stock images from a huge library. Only characters are drawn in. Still it is a lot of work to put this all together.
Depending on the tools used (mouse and/or drawing tablet) the workload might cause wrist issues. Many professional gamers are afflicted with this. Tendons wear out and further work just causes a lot of pain. Unfortunately there is no 'cure' - just to lessen the workload to manage pain.
