I can't honestly say I like the results. It's hard for me to read what's happening, to the point of not being able to distinguish characters reliably.

Hope Kikyou and the rest have caught up to Grey Rose, then our little crew has a chance.

But here is the thing... considering how the vampire society treated the people in the dustbox... Grey Rose is kinda the hero here.

I mean, sure... our little crew are our sweethearts and we know they are good kids, but Grey Rose may as well be the last barrier between the dustbox people and a fate far worse than death, so her zealousness in trying to protect them is kinda warranted.

I know we can say "She should know there are people trying to abolish this outdated system, she should listen and see they are different", but... if you were in her place, with the life she must have lived, with the particular people she has to deal... can you really say you would do differently? I don't have in me to believe I would do better, I hope I would be able to, but looking a little at her perspective, I simply don't find it in me to completely admonish her.

Well this and Demon Mom have established non-human creatures and societies and explore how they interact with humans, so the potential for them to become action-oriented was always there. Divorced Crybaby Neighbor, Broken Childhood Friend, Hyena-chan, Influencer Kouhai, and F-Rank University Journal are all distinctly human-centric (well... mostly human in Hyena-chan's case, 'cause good lord...), so those are laser-focused on being sexy romcoms.

The action and plot are cool and all, but I feel like this author shines the most when it's just wholesome everyday stuff.
