This whole "storm the vampire world rescue mission super shonen fight" arc has been incredibly unfulfilling.

I actually wonder if that tonal shift was an attempt to try and juice the readership numbers by doing something different from what it was before and now that it hasn't worked the publisher gave them until chapter 50 to wrap it up and the story had to step on the accelerator to actually get something across the finish line instead of just a generic "the adventure continues" non-ending.

If I remember correctly, conflicts in Demon Mom also had a tendency to end weirdly peacefully, given the events that lead up to them. People get second chances and are allowed to move on from their darkest moments in a way that you don't usually see in stories of similar intensity.

I hate this. I hate this. I hate this. There relationship felt more like dad-daughter than romantic. There wasn't enough development to justify the change (unless the honeymoon is a joke and it's the first time thet met.) As others said, it feels rushed, which is more due to the 3rd quarter dragging on for so long.

Some of y'all saying the end is coming. Guys, this ended like a year ago. We've just been waiting forever for the scalations for whatever reason. Hoping the last 2 (?) chapters get posted soon.

Gotta say though, even with the breakneck pace the past 20 or so chapters have gone by at, this is still probably my second favorite of Zyugoya's works, right after Demon Mom.
