Adventure manga legendary run from Red,Green and Blue arc all the way to Fire Red, Leaf Green was basically this. All fan service, all connecting plot line with tons of call back to the game/working the game plot into the story.

I don't know why but after a while, it kinda get messy with how each arc keep getting shorter and the storyline kinda finished way too fast so I just stop following the series.

imo it's less the fault of the manga and more the fact that Game Freak/TPC had/have been releasing new games way too quickly, and since the manga is part avenue to promote the games, they've been given much less time to make actual cohesive and thought out narratives.
It's really a shame, but unless the release schedule of the games is slowed down heavily, the problem will persist.

i notice this after BW2, the BW still good but BW2 to and sequence after that indeed getting shorter and almost jump to much without any proper build up its has before, XY really suffer in this one, no comment on OrAs since its only doing delta episode, SM just all over the place and Galar one kinda meh with its battle but the story pacing not that bad dunno about SV one
