Seriously dude? How about I dunno, just explaining to them their mistake or ignoring them if they don't accept it? Also, how exactly is that is what they said an insult? well it’s kind of normal OP at first (and it still is!), but idk lately it’s not as appealing as the first few chapters... while she said she wanted to live peacefully, she still used the same appearances and under the pretext of Holy Angel...? there are also whimsical MCs from isekai genre that I’ve read, but it’s like no consequences made because kaoru was super OP?? that kind of feeling. there are no attachment with all of side characters we had met... so far, Ashley is the ML, but I’m afraid with the way it went...he could probably forgotten in few chapters...

Went back and read the page that the translator is whining about. And let me tell you, it is still not that good. The ultimate problem is the scene that leads to her deciding to go down this path, doesn't feel compelling at all. I think it would have been a much better decision for he to see someone die or something because of her failure to act because she wanted to remain hidden.

As it is now, I don't blame people for people calling her wishy-washy because that scene lacked any real impact. She has up to this point been a very whimsical girl, going and doing as she pleased. Now you expect me that because she got a hug I am suppose to believe it had some fucking personality changing effect on her? Really? This wasn't something that was ever brought up previously, it just abruptly happened, so it doesn't work. People's personalities aren't light switches, they aren't either on or off. They need to gradually change to see character development.

Maybe the TL are the ones that actually need to read the series before they yell at others for not reading.

By the way for all the people that rant about the manga's adaptation lack of context or jumping too quickly from one thing to another, remember one thing : IT'S A MANGA ADAPTATION OF A NOVEL !
So of course it will be rushed as the manga's author can't go and put all the inner rants and rambling of the MC or all the contextual infos peppered here and there in the original novel (and these last few chapters are pack up to the brim with contents and events in the webnovel, I don't see how they could be adapted well without slowing the pace of the manga to a crawl).
So it's a little haphazard and the narrative rythm jump around all the time, but frankly there is way worse manga adaptions of novels out there, and usually publishers only push those manga adapations to boost the sales of the novel and drop them as their whim, so here we can be happy about the fact that it doesn't end here with a "read the next part in the novel" or "our fight/adventure has only begun".

If the translators read this at all, page 16 "Kaoru is in 9 clouds" is probably supposed to be translated to "Kaoru is on Cloud 9" or "Kaoru is walking on Cloud 9" since that's an actual saying.

Edit: Also, I reread that page you referenced. Still doesn't make sense that she did a 180 based on only one interaction and someone managed to create a greater plan all in that one instant. She went from being a whimsical traveler to laying elaborate keikakus (TL Note: Keikaku means plan) in an instant. I believe this is more of the manga being a terrible adaption than the Light Novels authors fault but just because you can explain why something's bad doesn't stop it from being bad.

Well that page talks about her plan, but it doesn't talk about her motivation. She hid to have a peaceful life and not be exploited while finding a partner that judged her for herself. She ran away to start fresh when that failed. This time she realized her good nature wouldn't let her just sit back and hide when her powers could easily help people suffering so close by. So, she said screw it and decided to spread her fame everywhere with Celes' name backing her before anyone gets a chance to try monopolizing her. Everyone will end up in a deadlock and Kaoru will just take her time finding a partner while openly doing the things she wants to.

Be that the case or not it's an obvious issue with the adaption as we don't get to see her interior monologue concerning her change in perception. We barely see it but it's a one-off throw away 3 sentences when the LN probably had it far more nuanced. Again, I blame it on the fact this story is a manga adaption with someone who isn't good at adapting. If you want to see an isekai manga that does handle inner monologue's incredibly well in manga format you can always take a gander at Kumo Desu Ga.

I believe 10.2 is the start of her wanting to live more freely and 12.2 is basically most of my comment. I have read the Kumo Desu Ga manga and love it. I also suffer with the rest of the people waiting on the WN updates since it's been a chain of cliffhangers.
