We are now caught up to where the anime left off at. Now I'm exited on where this story will go.
That's the extent of the anime? Wow. I was wondering if I should watch it, and that makes it a no. I wasn't expecting it to be deep, but that's barely much of anything to cover.

Now what's really got me wondering is having a diluted soul. Is it merely because she doesn't have magic mixed into it. Or does it imply, she's not actually fully there. In which case, the type of isekai this is, is that she still exists on the other side. Which might mean, her soul can fully integrate and she can "go back". But the Goto part would imply that he /didn't/ go back after death. And that the transmigration isn't something that can be reversed.

It to be expected as the anime is considered a TV Short at 12 episodes and it's not your standard length anime. Each episode is a total length of 13ish minutes and that included the intro and outro.

I wonder when she'll go to meet Goto and that fairy again.
I would assume soon after she brews a cure for the person the boys where collecting fairy water for. There might be some other in between requests, but I doubt it would go more then a volumes worth of chapters before we are back at the fairy spring.

Yeah, that'll do it. That format only really works for comedies/4-koma adaptations. Where you can get your joke in quickly and dip right out. I'm shocked they thought it was enough to drum up interest in the series/source material.

I'm guessing the anime quality was also pretty meek?

Most likely her original soul partially mixed with the soul of that body, resulting in a "diluted" state. So she retained her memories and that reincarnator bonus skill but lost the ability to use normal magic.

Meek is one way to describe it, it was definitely very cheap.
It did give the anime it's own kinda charm and very VN like, and I did kinda like it for it's novelty, but it didn't fit the story that much and would work better for another kind of story, and I think the novelty would quickly die out if more cheap anime used it.

I would like to see it used in a short 'reborn in VN' type of story.
