Is this new? I never saw this before but all of a sudden every pageload is getting a bot check. Even worse, more than half the time it doesn't actually work properly, so the page fails the load and gets stuck with part of the ui loaded and no pages loading until I refresh and then get a bot check. I had to try to load the next chapter of a manga five times before it actually successfully got there instead of failing to load and then going back to the previous chapter after the bot check. Also I had to try multiple times to post this thread because it kept running into an error which I can only assume was another failed bot check attempt.

I can't read anything anymore well over half the time. It says I pass the challenge and then chapter images insta-fail loading. Tried changing my VPN location, tried closing and reopening the browser, tried hard refresh, and it doesn't fix it. It just decides it wants to work or not depending on its mood. Are there solutions I haven't tried that might work? Probably, but I should not have to jump through hoops to make the site work as a regular user. Whatever you have setup... this ain't it.

Website runs like ass and half the images don't show. I had an exception set for mangadex in Firefox and it all worked fine until now.

This breaks rss-bridge, which I use since MangaDex still hasn't set up RSS feeds (even 5 years after they said it would come back...). Is there any way around this?

Don't impersonate a browser and you should be fine

Yeah. Site is literally unusable now. I genuinely cannot believe I'm being forced back to aggregator slop websites by the very measures being put in place to try to curtail the scrapers those sites use. You can't make this up...
